The first result was Black Comedy. The movie of my life would be a black comedy.

So I went back and changed one answer that I wasn't 100% about and I got Cult Classic. That would explain the actions of a few ex-boyfriends, but I think I've moved on since then.

So then I got my husband to do the quiz and he got Black Comedy too. Great. At least we're consistent. And our lounge room *does* resemble a scene outta High Fidelity with all the bloody vinyl (altho I much preferred Gross Pointe Blank).

I apologise. I stayed up and watched the Soccoroos play last night. People keep telling me it's conceited to think my sports teams lose when I watch them (and it is, I know) but the fact is, if I don't watch, they win and if I watch, they lose. Sorry guys. But you done good and played strong. We still loves ya.

Went to see the fabulous Mr Jeff Martin play at the Basement last night. Ahhh....was wonderful. We booked a table for dinner. So civilised.

When we emerged we did the dash to the train through thousands of green and gold-decked fans. The rain did not dampen them. The result no doubt did. But it was still special.

I love to flick channels during ads on television. It's annoying, I know, but I don't like taping shows so I quite often watch two (or more) shows at once. These days it's a bit of a useless passtime, as stations seem to sync their ads, but last night I had the unfortunate experience of flicking onto the Footy Show.

What a lot of louts. Why bother flying all the way to Germany if you know so little about the beautiful game that you don't even know how the teams are picked? Seriously - they didn't know about the final draw or how it works. It was embarrassing.

I am not, in general, a huge sports fan. And I've been fortunate enough to go to a World Cup Final Draw (in Korea). I realise not everybody is going to understand how it works. But all last night's performance by the boorish men of so-called 'football' showed was just how arrogant they are. That they can spend all that money (and given the sackings of several members of the news team last week, that in itself is puzzling) to turn up, profess complete ignorance of the game and generally encourage loutish Australians is a shocker, I reckon (she says in her broadest strine accent).

Yeouch!
My brain hurts.
And it's still freezing in the office.
Icicles are forming on my toes.
